| Not soon after arriving Rob took the
plunge. He couldn't wait to get up close and personal with the Great
White Shark. |

| The Weather was not the best but the sharks were
the best in weeks. We had six sharks around the boats that day which
is very good for low season. Rob finally saw what he wanted, a Great
White Shark under water in the real world! Unfortunately the visibility
was not the best. |
|
| Rob keeps many people up to date with his travels
and managed to persuade Simone to join him here to see the Great
White Shark. After picking up Simone I drove them to Table Bay to
view Table Mountain. We were lucky to see it on a beautiful day
with amazing colours in the water and a massive bonus of two Southern
Right Whales! |

| The Weather was perfect so we decided on having an
outside braai... what a pleasure that was! |

| We Invited Andre Hartman over and had a great evening
overlooking Gansbaai from the Whale Watching Deck. |
|
| The next day we went out again. |
|
| The next day was lovely except for some large swells.
This gave us a great opportunity to get some great photos of the
seals at Geyser Island |
|
| We had a fairly good day out but there were only
two sharks today & we didnt get the opportunity to put the cage
in the water. |
|
| But we still had a great day out. |
|
| As it was Robs Birthday we decided to have a Braai.
We watched a fantastic sunset & then started the fun.We spent
the evening going over Robs & Russ' video footage from the sharks
and activities. Especially Robs soon to be famous 'Carcarriers'
documentry. |

| We presented him with a personalised T-Shirt which
made his day! |
|
| The shark diving was off for a couple of days due
to large swells rolling into the area but before going Rob had a
chance of going out one final time. |
|
| We had a Braai for the final evening and again invited
Andre and Liz over. Rob had an amazing time here in Gansbaai and
said he will be back in the winter months to catch up with the Great
White Shark in peak season to catch some better under water shots.
Andre, liz & the Roundhouse will always welcome him and Simone
back as they were a pleasure to look after. |
